12th May is a date all Metal Gear Solid Online players should be writing down, there's a new mode becoming available, not just to those of you who purchased the SCENE expansion pack but the whole of the Metal Gear Online community. The new mode is a race mission, in which players have to run from checkpoint to checkpoint while protecting their targets. Also there will be a new patriot feature that will....
... be allocated to certain players each week starting May 26th. Patriots will be given a 5.56mm handgun with unlimited ammunition and no reload. So keep a watch out if one of them enters your game unless of course they are on your team. Keep a look out for more updates as the first year anniversary of Metal Gear Solid 4 approaches.
